Two lenders have tentatively agreed to restore $2.65m of the $3.37m they seized from accounts of Hermitage Offshore just before the New York-listed owner filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Tuesday.

The funds are essential to Hermitage's ability to keep operating the 10 platform supply vessels (PSVs) and 11 crew boats in its fleet, according to company filings in the case.
