GasLog's profits fell despite rising revenue amid the company's continued flight from the spot market.

The New York-traded LNG carrier owner reported an $8.89m profit for the third quarter of 2019, compared to $39.3m reported for the same period of 2018.

The company's adjusted net income, which excluded a $16.8m loss on financial instruments, slipped to $25.5m from $32.3m.

But revenue rose to $166m from $158m.
