A US investment firm has offloaded two million common shares of Genco Shipping & Trading, lowering its stake in the New York-listed bulker owner to just below 20%.
Strategic Value Partners (SVP) now has 8.17 million shares in the John Wobensmith-led company for a 19.6% stake.
That is down from 10.17 million units, or 29.4% interest, as of April 2018, according to an SEC document filed Monday.
