Klaveness Combination Carriers (KCC) has said its unique vessels enjoyed higher rates than standard product tankers by the end of the third quarter.

The company has nine CABU and three CLEANBU carriers, which carry bulk cargoes, but can also transport caustic soda solutions and clean oil cargoes respectively.

They produced "strong earnings supported by a healthy dry bulk market and efficient combination trading," the Norwegian company said.
