A Scorpio Group company controlled by the family of chief executive Emanuele Lauro has pounced on listed affiliates' shares for the second time in two days.

This time, Scorpio Services Holdings bought 100,000 shares in New York-listed Scorpio Tankers.

The purchase brings the private outfit's stake in the tanker company to just below 5%. It comes one day after Scorpio Services bought 50,000 shares in sister public company Scorpio Bulkers, in which Scorpio Services now holds nearly 20%.
