Shipping shares racked up widespread double-digit percentage gains in New York trading today as the Dow Jones Industrial Average rocketed to its best single trading day since 1933.
With a massive $2trn relief bill from the US Congress now in sight, stocks opened higher and kept climbing, with the Dow landing 2013 points to land at 20,704, a gain of more than 11%.
