US-listed shipping equities took another hit in a week marked by fallout from Covid-19 and inflation worries, but one part of the gas sector provided some good news.

The 30 stocks under coverage of investment bank Jefferies ended Friday with an average 2.1% decline compared to seven days earlier. The shares underperformed the S&P 500's 1.2% drop but fared better than the small-cap Russell 2000 index, which weakened 3.9%.
