Norway's Ocean Yield is on the hunt for fresh tonnage after selling off several leased ships in recent months.

The Oslo-listed company — a leasing specialist controlled by Norway's Kjell Inge Rokke — also has significant financial power to pull off deals.

"We have recently had a strong focus on the more liquid markets — tankers, bulkers, gas carriers — but are also considering container vessels," chief executive Lars Solbakken said on a conference call with analysts.
