There is much more to NextDecade Corp and Kathleen Eisbrenner’s ambitions.
The one-time Excelerate Energy president and co-founder said: “I started NextDecade with the ambition to go beyond FSRUs.
“I’ve always dreamed of making this a portfolio company not a one-trick pony,” she said.
Eisbrenner says that the company originally started by looking at floating liquefaction and added that it was while on the board of Chesapeake Energy that she became convinced the US was going to be “the most prolific resource base for gas”.
