New York-listed GasLog has shifted an LNG carrier newbuilding contracted by Centrica to a later delivery slot while confirming an additional order at Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea.
LNG market watchers pointed out a discrepancy in an end-of-December announcement from SHI, which gave the handover date for the newbuilding as the first quarter of 2020 against GasLog’s statement, which listed the delivery for its latest order as the third quarter of 2019.
