Trading house Trafigura has confirmed it is the long-term charterer of two VLGC newbuildings but says talk of StealthGas’ involvement in the ships is incorrect.
In response to an article in this week’s TradeWinds, a Trafigura spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the order has been made with a long term charter commitment from Trafigura, at this stage no other owner is involved in the project.”
