EGAS poised to call time on Hoegh FSRU as Egyptians slash imports

Hoegh LNG is expected to receive notice this month that one of its floating storage and regasification units will be redelivered before the end of its term charter contract.

Sources working closely with LNG in Egypt tell TradeWinds that Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co (EGAS) has informed the FSRU specialist that it intends to hand back the 170,000-cbm Hoegh Gallant (built 2014).
