State-owned Turkish energy company Botas has homed in on South Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries to build a floating storage and regasification unit.
Those following the business say the other two members of the Korean big three — DSME and Samsung Heavy Industries — appear to have lost out on the project.
A senior yard official at HHI declined to comment, and staff at Botas have previously told TradeWinds that the company will not speak about its FSRU plans.
