Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) is eyeing up its next LNG ship bunkering project as its first specialised newbuilding was scheduled to leave South Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) for the Baltic this week.

The 7,500-cbm, ice-class 1A Kairos, which is fixed on time charter to Nauticor-KN joint venture Blue LNG, was set to sail from HMD on Tuesday.

Angus Campbell, BSM's corporate director of energy projects, told TradeWinds that the Kairos was the largest LNGBV when it was ordered.
