Russia's Yamal LNG could export up to nine million tonnes of LNG via ship-to-ship (STS) cargo transfers off Norway over the next six months, with operations taking place on an almost daily basis.

Ship tracking data shows a clutch of LNG carriers heading to northern Norway in preparation to take on transshipped cargoes as the Russian producer fires up its third large liquefaction train and prepares to boost its specialised ice-breaking Arc7 fleet with an additional vessel.
