Japan's MOL and Uniper are teaming up to progress a floating storage and regasification unit at the trader's site at Wilhelmshaven in Germany.

Uniper said the FSRU has a planned send-out capacity of 10 billion cbm per annum and an LNG storage capacity of 263,000-cbm.

MOL has the intention to own, operate and finance the FSRU while Uniper will act as project developer to permit the facility and collect interest for regasification capacity, the German outfit said.
