Methane emissions from the shipping element of the LNG supply chain could potentially offset the benefits of using gas as a marine fuel, a researcher warns.

Paul Balcombe is a research fellow at Imperial College London’s Sustainable Gas Institute, where he has been looking at methane emissions, their importance to climate change and how to reduce them to decarbonise gas supply chains.
