TMS Cardiff Gas contracted 11 LNG carrier newbuildings in the 12 months from December 2017 — more than any other single company in this period.

The Christos Economou-led Greek shipowner has locked away nine of these vessels on multi-year time-charter contracts of between five and seven years.

The company boasts two energy majors — Total and Shell — among its charterers, with US producer Cheniere Energy also widely reported to have taken TMS Cardiff tonnage.
