The sale of one of BW LPG’s last large gas carriers and reports a second is now on the block have sparked speculation in shipbroking circles that the company is seeking to quietly exit the segment.
The Oslo-listed company, a leading player in the LPG carrier sector, confirmed last week that it had sold the 57,000-cbm BW Helios (built 1992) for demolition in India.
