Finland's Wartsila has won clearance to build a liquid biogas (bioLNG) plant in Asker, Norway.

The contract was awarded in April last year by VEAS, a wastewater treatment and biogas producer.

The new facility will comprise a biogas upgrading and liquefaction plant.

Total output will be 20 tons of fuel per day.

This is Wartsila's third bioLNG plant in Norway, and its fifth globally.
