GasLog Partners has broken new ground with a three-and-a-half-year charter for one of its LNG carriers to commodities giant Gunvor.
The deal for the 155,000-cbm GasLog Shangai (built 2013) is expected to start in June and will remove the vessel from the spot market.
The US-listed MLP said the deal with Gunvor’s Singapore-based shipping arm Clearlake Shipping will have a variable rate of hire across the charter period based upon an agreed range.
