Spanish energy company Naturgy is asking shipowners for offers on up to five LNG carriers as it moves to renew its fleet and service its growing LNG portfolio.
Naturgy maritime transport director Jorge Zickermann confirmed to TradeWinds that the company has an enquiry out with owners for up to five vessels to take on charter.
“We are asking for flexible periods plus options in a range of one to five years,” Zickermann said, revealing that Naturgy is looking at ships that may be available for delivery from as early as next year.
