An area off the Russian coast to the north of Murmansk has been readied for LNG transshipments ahead of winter.

Shipping sources involved with the business said the ice-free area off the south-east coast of Kildin Island has been prepared with the harbour tugs, cryogenic hoses and large fenders required for the operations.
