Blue Sea Power progresses LNG-to-power barges for Greece and beyond

Greek generating and fuelling company Blue Sea Power is moving forward on plans to build and install up to seven integrated floating storage regasification and power (FSRP) barges that could be operated on LNG, bio-LNG and hydrogen.

Speaking to TradeWinds chairman and chief executive Konstantinos Mitropoulos said the company has completed initial pre-front-end engineering and design with engineering consultancy Houlder for the FSRP units.
