Eastern Pacific Shipping-led Cool Company (CoolCo) is in discussions for two of its LNG carriers which are due to fall open in 2023 as charterers scour the market for tonnage.

Speaking on a third-quarter results call CoolCo chief executive Richard Tyrrell said the company is seeing “quite unprecedented level of enquiries” on the two tri-fuel diesel-electric (TFDE) ships which are scheduled to become available in April and September 2023.
