DSME is taking a slow and under-the-radar approach to the development of its in-house LNG cargo containment system, Solidus.
After a barrage of announcements in the past two months trumpeting approval for Solidus from most of the major classification societies, along with the mention that discussions are underway on a first newbuilding, yard officials indicated that they intend to move slowly with the commercialisation of the new system.
