Energy group Elenger is stepping up its LNG bunkering operations through a new contract with UECC in Finland.

The company, known as Eesti Gas in its home country of Estonia, has started to provide gas as a ship fuel at the port of Hanko in Finland, in addition to Tallinn and Helsinki.

It has an existing deal to supply LNG to Tallink’s 49,000-gt ro-pax Megastar (built 2017), and has now added an agreement for the largest dual-fuel vehicle carriers in the world, UECC's 3,800-ceu Auto Energy and Auto Eco (both built 2016).
