A third floating storage and regasification unit-based LNG import terminal at Brunsbuttel near Hamburg in Germany has received a first cargo.
The 137,315-cbm LNG carrier Ish (built 1995) arrived at the Elbehafen LNG terminal on Tuesday with a cargo loaded at Abu Dhabi’s Das Island export facility.
Kpler data shows the vessel as now in ballast.
In 2022 the facility’s developer RWE signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi state energy giant on a first cargo for the Brunsbuttel facility.
