Tor Olav Troim-controlled Golar LNG aims go ahead with a solo spin-off of its LNG carrier fleet under a US listing next year, after plans to pursue this with partners Awilco LNG and TMS Cardiff Gas fell apart.
Speaking on a results call in answer to analysts’ questions, Golar chief executive Iain Ross said: “We have chosen a more complex route by trying to deal with a tripartite situation that has not worked for us so we are going to do it ourselves.”
