US-listed Hoegh LNG Partners has lashed out at PGN LNG over the Indonesian company's plans to terminate the charter of a floating storage and regasification unit.

The shipowner also said it has served a counterclaim against the charterer in the dispute over the 170,000-cbm PGN FSRU Lampung (built 2014).

Speaking on Hoegh LNG Partners' results call, chief executive Sveinung Stohle said the company's PT Hoegh LNG Lampung refuted claims made by PGN LNG as “baseless” and “without legal merit”.
