Global LNG production is set to rise by 9.6% or 34 million tonnes (mt) to 391 mt this year, with new projects expected to be given the go-ahead in the next 12 months.
Independent LNG consultant Andy Flower told TradeWinds a large part of this increase, some 24 mt, will come from US projects as they bring new trains into commercial operation.
