In the dash to gas for alternative fuels, the focus has largely been on LNG.
But now very large gas carrier (VLGC) operators are looking in their own backyard at the option of switching to LPG as a bunker fuel.
Rumour abounds that the first propulsion unit capable of running on LPG has been ordered already, although details have yet to emerge.
