MOL is trying to fix its supersize floating storage and regasification unit for an interim period before it begins a long-term charter.

The 263,000-cbm MOL FSRU Challenger (built 2017) ended a charter with Botas, Turkey’s state energy company and LNG importer, at the end of April, an industry source said.

The world’s largest regasification vessel, with 20m cbm per day of send-out capacity, was scheduled to move from its berth at Dortyol near Turkey’s border with Syria.
