Japan's NYK Line has inked a long-term time-charter on a recently ordered LNG carrier newbuilding with an arm of French energy company Electricity de France (EDF).
NYK said its affiliate France LNG Shipping — a jointly owned shipowning company in which Geogas Group subsidiary Geogas LNG and the Japanese shipowner hold 50% stakes — signed the charter with EDF LNG Shipping without giving details of the hire period.
