A laden LNG carrier has arrived at Shell's huge floating liquefaction unit Prelude FLNG off the north-west coast of Australia as commissioning operations continue in preparation for the start up of LNG exports.

LNG flow forecaster iGIS/LNG said the 170,000-cbm Methane Mickie Harper (built 2010) slowed its speed as it reached the Prelude 1.5-kilometre safety zone today.

Shell-controlled Methane Mickie Harper is understood to be carrying LNG volumes loaded in Peru.
