Producing giant Qatargas has completed its first commercial ship-to-ship cargo transfer operation from one of its Q-Flex LNG carriers to a visiting vessel.
Qatargas Operating Co's 216,200-cbm chartered vessel Mesaimeer (built 2009), which was loaded with a full cargo of 212,000 cbm of LNG, delivered the first parcel by STS in Subic Bay in the Philippines on 6 January.
The company supplied a photo of the Nakilat-owned vessel alongside the 160,000-cbm Cool Voyager (built 2013).
