Shell will more than double the number of LNG bunker vessels (LNGBVs) it has in operation in the next five years.

Shell Energy executive vice president Steve Hill said the company will shortly bring its first LNGBVs into service in Singapore and in the US.

“We have six bunker vessels in operation or about to come into service and we expect to more than double that by 2025,” he said at World LNG Virtual Summit & Awards on Wednesday.
