Singapore is set to have its first bunker tankers supplying LNG as a marine fuel by 2020, under plans announced on Monday.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has awarded S$6m ($4.5m) to FueLNG and Pavilion Gas for the construction two LNG bunker vessels, in a move that it hopes will help promote ship-to-ship LNG bunkering in Singapore.
