Energy major Total is swinging its attention to developing LNG bunkering in the Western Mediterranean and Asia as it prepares to absorb Engie’s upstream assets and grow its LNG portfolio.

Total Marine Fuels Global Solutions LNG manager Xavier Pfeuty told the LNG Bunkering Summit 2018 in Amsterdam that the company’s next step is to try and develop the Mediterranean market at Fos and Marseille, as its position expands following the Engie merger this summer.
