J Lauritzen’s decades long membership of the West of England Ship Owners Mutual Insurance Association appears to be coming to an end as its fleet sails for the Britannia and the North of England protection-and-indemnity clubs, market sources said.
Word of the switch comes as the market buzz about fleets on the move is hotting up, with less than a couple of weeks to go to the annual renewal of P&I cover.
