International regulations for Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS) must be put in place before insurers can provide cover for the market, according to a new report.
Published by Norwegian marine insurance association Central Union of Marine Underwriters (Cefor) and Danish law firm CORE Advokatfirma, the report analyses the obstacles shipping must overcome to ensure an insurance structure can be put in place to cover MASS.
