John Browne has been appointed as head of Tel Aviv-based specialist marine insurance technology and data science company Windward.
Lord Browne, chief executive of oil major BP between 1995 and 2007, first got involved with Windward as an investor, before joining as a board member in April last year.
Browne described Windward as “an exciting small company with enormous growth potential led by a great team.”
