Regulars at the Marine Challenge Cup have come face to face with some top players during its 20-year history.

Former England internationals Shaun Wright-Phillips and Robert Lee have previously faced off against shipping's finest at the annual five-a-side football tournament in London.

At this year's event, it was Natalie Lagunas who took the starring role. Capped by the Mexico Under-20s, her strong running, firm tackling and eye for goal gave hosts Chaffe McCall an extra edge.

However, despite such pedigree, Chaffe McCall lost to Skuld on penalties in the semi-final before last year's winners were themselves beaten in the cup final by the ever-competitive Thomas Miller.

Lagunas did not finish empty handed, picking up a new award introduced this year for the most sporting player.

Matt Montgomery of MFB was named player of the tournament, and Campbell Johnston Clark won the plate contest after seeing off MFB in a shoot-out.
