A senior Houthi figure has cast doubt on US President Donald Trump’s claim that the Yemeni rebels have “capitulated” and ended their campaign against shipping in the Red Sea.
Oman, which brokered discussions between the US and the Houthis, had also claimed a deal had been struck, which meant the two sides would no longer target each other and ensured freedom of navigation of commercial shipping in the Red Sea.
