The maritime legal team of international law firm CMS has bolstered its asset finance offering in Hong Kong with the recruitment of new partner Conor Warde.
Warde, who joins from Mayer Brown, brings with him his shipping transactional and finance practice, according to CMS.
Tim Elliott, CMS’ global head of asset finance, with whom Warde will work closely to develop and enhance the Asian asset finance practice, stressed that Hong Kong continues to be an important financial centre, and the asset finance practice will now benefit from a two-partner team.
