Singaporean bunker provider Sing Fuels has landed on US shores in its latest attempt to recoup unpaid bills after Medmar's abrupt collapse last year.

Wednesday, the company filed suit in Virginia federal court looking to arrest the 79,410-dwt Lila Shanghai (built 2011), claiming it provided the bulker more than $532,000 in fuel last summer in South Africa while on charter to the shuttered Greek operator and was never paid.
