Greece's Capital Maritime & Trading must pay an arm of SK Shipping the money it owes in hire after it terminated its charter of a VLCC prematurely, a High Court judge in London has ruled.
In a dispute over technical problems, Justice David Foxton denied the Evangelos Marinakis-controlled company's counterclaim seeking to rescind its charter of the 314,000-dwt C Challenger (built 2012) and to rescind the corporate guarantee it provided for hire.
