The spread between high sulphur and compliant fuel is not as high as some were predicting, according to Concordia Maritime's chief executive.
Kim Ullman, the head of the Swedish tanker owner, told TradeWinds this week that the fuel spread is between $250 per tonne and $300 per tonne.
"The spreads were expected to be in the [$600 per tonne] and the [$700 per tonne]," he said.
