Shipowner Agile Holdings has won an appeal indemnifying it against claims for a damaged bulker cargo shipped on a time charter by India's Essar Shipping.
The UK high court has overturned an arbitration award made last year in favour of Essar in a case involving a bulker called Maria that was hired in 2004 by the Indian operator from Agile for a single trip from Tunisia to India via Trinidad.
