A former Keppel Shipyard employee has been charged with corruption in Singapore.

Ex-senior procurement officer Neo Kian Siong, 61, faces 395 counts, according to Channel News Asia.

He is accused of accepting bribes totalling SGD 293,000 ($216,000) in order to help companies conduct business with the yard.

This accounts for 78 counts, the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) said in a press release.
